What Viselio Is

Viselio is an AI-powered relocation assistant that helps Americans plan and organize their move abroad. We provide informational guidance — not legal, tax, or financial advice.

What We Collect

Information you provide:

  • Account info: name and email address when you create an account
  • Profile info: general details about your situation — citizenship (country only), income range, family status, target country, visa type, timeline
  • Chat history: your conversations with Viselio (stored for Plus members)
  • Payment info: processed by Polar.sh — we never see or store your credit card number

Information we collect automatically:

  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, general interaction patterns
  • Device info: browser type, screen size (for responsive design)

What We NEVER Collect

Viselio does not collect, store, or process:

  • Passport numbers or scans of identity documents
  • Social Security numbers or tax identification numbers
  • Bank account numbers or financial statements
  • Pay stubs, tax returns, or W-2 forms
  • Medical records or health information
  • Criminal background details
  • Any government-issued ID numbers

If you accidentally share sensitive information in chat, our AI is instructed to disregard it and redirect you to share such documents directly with your attorney or tax professional.

How We Use Your Information

  • To provide the service: personalize AI responses based on your situation
  • Memory (Plus): remember your profile across sessions
  • Marketplace leads: when you request a consultation, we share your general profile (name, email, visa type, general situation) — never sensitive documents
  • Affiliate recommendations: we may recommend third-party products based on your situation. We earn a commission if you sign up. Always disclosed.
  • Improve the product: aggregated, anonymized usage patterns

What We Share

With marketplace providers (only when you request a consultation):

  • Your name and email
  • General case summary (citizenship, target country, visa type, timeline, income range)
  • Never sensitive documents or personal IDs

We never:

  • Sell your personal data
  • Share your data with advertisers
  • Share data between marketplace providers

Data Storage & Security

Data is stored on Supabase (hosted on AWS). All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Row-level security ensures you can only access your own data.

Your Rights

  • Access: view all data in your Profile page
  • Edit: correct any information at any time
  • Delete: delete your account and all data in Settings
  • Export: export your data in Settings

GDPR

If you're an American living in the EU, you have full rights under GDPR. We process data based on your consent. You can request complete data deletion at any time.
